FRESHWATER ONLY! STORED INDOORS IN HEATED GARAGE! I have owned this boat for about 12 years now and it's been great. The boat is currently in the water at my house on Lake Chelan, and I would be happy to demonstrate this boat on the water to serious buyers after you see it in person. Ok, so there are a lot of 20 foot and 22 foot Cobalt's out there for sale-- and you will regret buying one. Sorry, but it's true. At 27 feet, this boat, and the perfectly designed hull, allows you to go Stehekin when you want to. I've owned 22 foot boats on Lake Chelan, and been in 18 foot boats uplake. It's not fun! Sporadic waves not only scare you, but they make you turn back, and limit where you can go. Smaller boats are uncomfortable for everybody on them (unless its dead calm). Go with a 27 footer like this if you don't want to limit yourself on a body of water like Lake Chelan. Professionally serviced every year by Chelan Valley Marine and stored in a heated garage. We installed a loud and very nice $3000+ stereo/speaker upgrade two years ago so you can REALLY HEAR the music at full speed! Bluetooth connectivity to your phone so you can listen to all your favorite tunes. This boat has the sought after outdrive and the sought after 8.1L Volvo engine that produces plenty of power. Of course, this motor is fuel injected (just like your car) for easy hassle free operation without the nasty smells of a carbureted engine. A heavy duty Tandem axel trailer is included. This boat has lived on Lake Chelan and is the perfect boat for going to far away places (like Stehekin!) safety. The best part: 27 feet with an extended swim step means lots of seating for people and easy access when getting in and out of the water. plus, the swimstep covers up the outdrive which I think is great for safety with people jumping in (or falling off!). It has a bathroom that we have never allowed anybody to use. We use that area for storage of bumpers, life jackets, and accessories. I will miss it! It's a wonderful boat. The year is 2004 and the engine has 672 hours and it very strong with no issues. It has much more to go!
